The Safety Meeting Episode 7 - Bridging the Divide

Let’s Bridge The Divide!
With recent events, that being the continuing plague of 2020 and how we are coping with it. In saying “we” I am talking about safety professionals, employees tasked with H&S responsibilities and of course those of us belonging to organizations, big and small, public and private, for profit and not for profit, volunteer based and more – how we are trying to cope with this mercurial ebbing and flowing pandemic tide. I say that as things are continuously changing, sides, camps if you will, are emerging but also coming together in what is becoming a tremendously confusing and uneasy workplace culture especially around health and safety!
I am seeing division between safety professionals especially on social media sites like LinkedIn. This is of course also happening at work, in our recreational life and more. How do we cope with the anti-maskers, the anti-vaxxers but also the pro-vaccine group siding with the non-mandate group?
Instead of picking sides in the debate, let’s meet in the livestream and discuss some ways where we might actually do something to bridge the divide instead of making it bigger!
