TOKYO iPhone17Pro / Apple LOG2 / ProRes 422 LT / Cinematic film

I used an iPhone 17 Pro to capture cinematic videos of Tokyo’s cityscape, traditional festivals, and everyday life.
Filming took place during Japan’s cherry blossom season, which begins around March, and lasted for about three months.
This was my first time shooting with an iPhone, but since I could start shooting right away without making people around me feel uncomfortable, it felt like an excellent point-and-shoot camera. I used the Blackmagic app to shoot, and I was also impressed by the wide range of lenses available, from 13mm to 100mm. Since I usually shoot with a mirrorless camera, I really felt like this opened up new possibilities.

I filmed video footage with the Tilta Khronos Lite iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max Creator Kit attached.

Editing was done using DaVinci Resolve, with Dehancer applied during color grading to achieve a film-like look.
