SOFITEL HOTEL, SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA TOUR & INSIDE LOOK (inc. Angkor Wat Temple and Ta Prohm)

I was recently travelling across Asia and spent three nights in Siem Reap, Cambodia which is gateway to the 8th Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat Temple. I stayed here for three nights at the Sofitel Hotel and this video offers a tour and inside look of the whole hotel, including my room, the swimming pool, restaurant, food, gym and gardens etc. It is a beautiful luxury hotel with fantastic facilities and the biggest swimming pool I have ever seen! it is absolutely divine although be warned, it is SO HOT in Cambodia that the pool feels like a bath and isn't particularly refreshing to swim in. There is a lovely hammock in the grounds to sway and laze in. he video also shows how you can get a tuk tuk from the hotel for $15 for 4 hours to take you to the Angkor Wat temple complex. My favourite site was Ta Prohm, which is where tree roots are strangling the ruins and Angelina Jolie filmed Tomb Raider here!
