Evolis Zenius | Regular print head cleaning

To clean the print head of the Evolis Zenius card printer follow the instructions below:
Maintenance accessory: Evolis special cotton bud impregnated with isopropyl alcohol.

1. Unplug the power cable to power off the printer. The pushbutton switches off.
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Use a swab supplied by Evolis and press the centre of the tube until it clicks and releases the cleaning product.
4. Gently apply the swab onto the print head, moving it from left to right and for a few seconds.
5. Close the cover.
Wait a couple of minutes before using the printer until the cleaning product has fully evaporated. Reconnect the power cable and power the printer on.

Recommended cleaning cycle: every time the ribbon is changed.

To prevent any effect on the printing quality or permanent damage of the print head, please avoid:
- any contact between the print head and any metal or sharp objects.
- touching the print head directly with your fingers
- any discharge of static electricity.
