Today I'm celebrating my 25th year of life. A very humble celebration. After contracting covid-19 recently, I did the math and realized I would still have to be quarantined for my bday. At first I was angry, but then I realized what a minor inconvenience it is compared to the real hardships other people are going through in life. I realized how good I have it, and I thank God I only had moderate symptoms. Praying for those who are having a tough time fighting this virus!!!

It took something as simple as losing my sense of taste to realize we don't know what we have until it's gone.. so take the time to truly appreciate all those flavors at mealtime because some of us can't taste anything 🥴 and give your loved ones a big hug, because some of us can't hug our loved ones.

Although I am unable to celebrate the way I originally planned, it doesn't stop me from thanking God because I already have the best gifts a person could ask for. I woke up today with good health. I have a loving and caring family, wonderful friends, God's love, and faith...
All I want for my birthday is for Jesus to teach me to live like Him one day at a time. 🙏🏼
