How To Cook Lumpia SPRING ROLLS | Lumpiang Shanghai | Shanghai Lumpia

Deep fried ground pork with mixed vegetables wrapped in a spring roll wrapper. Usually consumed as appetiser. Main ingredients are wrapper, ground meat and vegetables.

INGREDIENTS

Spring Roll Wrapper
500g ground pork
2 pcs medium onions, minced
2 pcs celery sticks, minced
2 pcs carrots, minced
1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1.5 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoons sesame oil
2 raw eggs
3 cups cooking oil

Dipping Sauce:

1 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup vinegar
1 small onion, minced
1 chopped chilli

Procedure:

1. Combine thoroughly all ingredients into a bowl.
2. Scoop 1 tbsp of pork mixture and place onto a wrapper. Roll up and spread a bit of water at the end of the wrapper.Press both sides and repeat until you finish all pork mixture wrapped in to the wrappers.
3. Heat oil and deep fry spring rolls until it turns to golden brown.
4. For the sauce, combine all ingredients into a small bowl.
5. Dip in spring rolls to the sauce and enjoy!
