Iran's Willingness to Compromise Masks a Bigger Problem

Iran says it is open to compromises in order to reach a new nuclear agreement with the United States.

In an interview with the BBC, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi stated that Tehran is ready to discuss limits on its nuclear program if Washington agrees to lift sanctions.

However, Iran reiterated that it will not accept zero uranium enrichment — a key sticking point in previous negotiations.

Talks are expected to resume in Geneva following earlier discussions in Oman.

Can both sides reach common ground — or will tensions escalate further?
