The one and only Robert 'Sput' Searight and his band Snarky Puppy just keep getting better and better. Hard to believe, as they were already at a level that leaves most people's jaws dropped, but it's true...they're one of the baddest bands in the land. Here they are with their opening tune for the night, an unrecorded track called "What About Me." They hit the downbeat pretty fast, faster than I could get to the Zoom Q3HD (where I get the audio from) to hit the record button, so the video begins a few seconds after the song has started. don't worry...sit through this whole video and you will have your mind blown by Sput and his killer drumming.

For this gig, Sput is playing somewhat of a different setup. He's using a Byzance Vintage Series 22" Sand Crash Ride. The rest of his cymbals are somewhat the same as on his artist page, but there are some discrepancies and it's because Sput is changing his Meinl cymbals around and experimenting often.
