【科技對探究歷史的影響】

團結香港基金（基金會）、基金會轄下中國文化研究院、香港教育大學、聯合出版集團及香港商務印書館早前聯合舉辦「燦爛那一刻—成就你我的核心價值觀」系列講座第二講，邀請到香港中文大學歷史系客席教授丁新豹教授，以及香港歷史文化研究會理事馮天樂博士就他們學習歷史的心得、對歷史的看法進行深度對談。

科技發展一日千里，對於科技對探究歷史的影響，丁教授認為，雖然自己對最新的科技發展認識不多，但大數據對於歷史研究而言非常有用。而馮博士認為，現時人工智能還未發展成熟，在教學方面只能擔當輔助的角色。他強調，歷史教學講求因材施教，好的歷史老師是科技不能取代。中國文化研究院邱逸博士指出，科技雖然可以幫助理解史學，但不能幫助個人的史識及史德。他提醒，學生在使用科技工具幫助學習時，要對資料的真實性抱有懷疑，不可完全依賴。

【Achieving Our Core Values Lecture Series - Lecture 2】
【Impact of technology on historical exploration】
Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), Academy of Chinese Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong, Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited and The Commercial Press, recently co-organized the third lecture of the "The Radiant Moments - Achieving Our Core Values" series. Professor Joseph Ting, Adjunct Professor at the Department of History of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Dr. Michael Fung, Council Member, Hong Kong History and Culture Society, engaged in an in-depth discussion about their insights on studying history and their perspectives on history.

Technological advancement is progressing at a rapid pace. Regarding the impact of technology on historical exploration, Professor Ting believed that although he had limited knowledge of the latest technological developments, big data was highly valuable for historical research. On the other hand, Dr. Fung asserted that artificial intelligence was still not mature enough and could only play a supportive role in teaching. He emphasized that history education required teaching in line with the student's ability, and a good history teacher could not be replaced by technology. Dr. Yau Yat, Executive Director of the Academy of Chinese Studies, pointed out that while technology could assist in understanding historiography, it cannot help develop an individual's historical consciousness and virtue. He cautioned students to maintain skepticism about the authenticity of information when using technological tools for learning and not to rely solely on them.
