Hurricane Laura Makes Landfall With Catastrophic Surge
Aug.27 -- Hurricane Laura made landfall early Thursday in Louisiana as one of the most powerful storms to ever strike the state, threatening the region with “catastrophic storm surge,” flash floods and devastating winds that could inflict more than $15 billion in insured losses.
