About the episode:
Episode one follows the story of Nox, a boy who should have had a life of luxury and respect as a royal. However, when he was young, he was discovered to possess an age old curse, thought to be eradicated by an elite group of individuals known as the ‘Elemental Guardians’ hundreds of years ago. Because of this, and the destruction known to be brought with the curse, his father wishes to get rid of him, so that his kingdom is not put in danger. His mother disagrees and flees from the castle to her mother’s home. She asks her to raise Nox, before she passes away from frostbite as the result of a long journey through the snow. Nox grows up, told to conceal his curse by his grandmother, however, soon it is impossible to restrain because of an intentional increase of his power...
