c. Paris Student Protests (They were protesting a University reform bill known as the Devaquet bill that was being attempted to be signed into law by the French parliament. After Malik Oussekine, a bystander who was not even participating in the demonstrations was beaten and killed by police on December 6th the protests suddenly centered around police brutality...resulting in demonstrations and riots the following day.
