Fossil-Fuel Subsidies: Problems, Opportunities and Making Reform Work Sustainably

Where would you invest $500 billion? This video looks at why it's a problem that the world's countries spend an average of around $500 billion per year on subsidies for fossil-fuel consumption -- as well as the opportunities that could be created if this money were freed up to help deliver on sustainable development.
