Florida State shortstop Alex Lodise was selected 60th overall by the Atlanta Braves. He is coming off one of the most decorated seasons in FSU history, being named the ACC Player of the Year and winner of the Duck Hower Trophy. He hit .394 in his senior year, and for his career, he hit .345 with a .604 slugging percentage. Along with being outstanding at the plate, he is also a phenomenal defensive shortstop, who won the ACC Defensive Player of the Year this season.
