Now you can install the Navien NPE-A models and use the built in recirculating pump with our with out a dedicated recirculating line returning from the fathers hot fixture away. Comfort pump technology programming
Dip switch 2 up
Paddle in the back left pointing down for external recirculation

Turn unit off from display panel not toggle switch.
Press Plus symbol x3
Press minus symbol x3
Press plus symbol x4
Display should read 1 tech
Press plus 1x
Display should read 2Par
Press i (info) button 1x
Scroll up to P17 with plus symbol
Press info
Panel should read 1 off
Press plus symbol 1x
Panel should display 2on
Press info
Panel should display wait
Unit is now set for comfort pump technology.
Press Reset until you get back to a blank screen, turn unit back on.
Pump indicator should be displayed on unit.

Make sure all air is bled from the system or a error code will display, usually E438
