Over New Years 2020, we stayed for 5 nights at the Marriott Cancun Resort, booking using Marriott Bonvoy points and taking advantage of their 5th night free benefit. While we loved our previous stay at the JW Marriott Cancun, the best deal on points for our dates was the Marriott. We loved the Sac-Be beach bar on property, as well as the great location in Cancun's Hotel Zone. Ultimately, the resort's pool area disappoints, especially compared to the JW Marriott next door.
