Bhavānī Ashtakam - Shrī Ādi Shankarāchārya

Bhavānī Ashtakam was written by Shrī Ādi Shankarāchārya and is an exquisite hymn in the praise of Mother Bhavānī seeking her protection and divine blessings.

An extract of Swāmī Vivekānanda's conversation with his disciple Sharat Chandra about a vision of the Mother that he had in Kashmir is given. Further, the video has a life instance from Saint Rāmadāsa who was the Guru of Chatrapati Shivājī. He invoked blessings of the Mother on Shivājī and saw a vision of her always protecting Shivājī.
