07_Beyond P-Values_ Computing the Probability of a True Association

The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) is a public-private partnership designed to inform the appropriate use of observational data for studying the real-world effects of medical products. OMOP is a multi-year methodological research initiative that has developed a network of administrative claims and electronic health records databases and established a community of methodologists to test the feasibility and utility of large-scale observational analyses. Each year, OMOP holds an annual symposium to publicly share insights from the partnership's ongoing research with all interested stakeholders.

David Madigan, PhD, OMOP Research Investigator
Professor and Chair Department of Statistics, Columbia University
