Tripping Along The Tri-City - Poland's Baltic Coast | Next Stop Everywhere

Our Big Baltic Adventure in Poland comes to an end... but before we go...

It's time for a proper road trip through the famed Tri-City of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdansk!

We set up camp for the night on the shores of the Baltic, at the stunning Gdynia Camper Park (one of the only dedicated camper parks in the whole Tri-City, and well worth it!). After an evening of campfire merriment, we visit the incredible 'Emigrant Museum' where we are both moved and inspired by the history of this great nation - Poland has been through a lot, but has come out of it a stronger, more independent and braver place, with a booming economy and a LOT to teach the world!

Onwards to Sopot, for a spot of sun and stroll along the famous pier (the longest wooden pier in Europe no less!) and then down into Gdansk we go, where we pitch up next to the marina (a lovely and FREE stopover!) and set off to explore the architecturally wonderful old town area - it's just beautiful - so much to admire and so much history to explore.

Finally, we round off this leg of our Poland adventure in the nation's very own 'Lake District' - known as the 'land of a thousand lakes' we can clearly see why as we stop off at another free location on it's very own lake, and then head into the famous Wigry National Park for a gorgeous end to our time here.

But don't worry, we will be back - our journey next takes us into Lithuania and Latvia (and maybe Estonia too!), but on the way south again, we will be re-visiting Poland, taking in the sights and sounds of the big cities of Warsaw and Krakow, and exploring the impressive Tatra mountain region too!
