Fijian Attorney General holds Question and Answer Session with Vunivau Community, Labasa.
Attorney-General Hon. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum met with residents of Vunivau during a talanoa session at the Qawa Primary School in Labasa this evening.
The AG spoke on few of Governments initiatives that was highlighted in the 2018-2019 National Budget announcement this year.
Members of the community raised issues on roads, water issues, leasing issues within the settlement and issues pertaining to paternity leave.
Minister for Local Government, Community Development and Environment Hon. Parveen Kumar also clarified issues on the lease arrangement for the community at Vunivau settlement.
