CATS the Musical costume & cosplay! 🐈 DIY

Learn how to make a complete Broadway or West End style costume from Cats the musical! In this video I show you how I make my Cats cosplays (Jemima and Cassandra) — from the wigs, tails, collars, unitards, leg/arm warmers, all the way to the makeup :3

lol I finally finished this... I don't care if Cats is no longer "relevant;" it's always relevant to me, as it is my favourite musical.
Shout-out to Deanna for always agreeing to do weird things in public with me.

Oh, also I wanted to say that I asked for permission from both the venue and the touring company before attending the Cats performances dressed in full cosplay. Please check with your local theaters before showing up in full costume! There may be safety regulations that forbid face paint in public, and/or the company may find it offensive. Luckily, this wasn't the case both times I did it, and everyone was very supportive and enthusiastic, but better to be safe than sorry!

Did you like the new movie?? I was sad that the original costumes/makeup weren't preserved. So, this video is a homage to the wonderful artistry of those components. Maybe someday I'll actually try to make a 100% authentic costume, but for now, these are pretty cool if I say so myself.
