Is Paul Goldschmidt Jewish? (Actually Shocking)

The WBC lead me to investigate this man... and it turns out that PAUL GOLDSCHMIDT ISNT JEWISH!!!! Not really anyway. His dad is but he was raised catholic and now he's evangelical. I'm shocked! The nerve! The audacity. WOW. Anyway, great World Baseball Classic, I loved it, if you watched it you loved it, if you didn't you missed out. The Team Israel thing tweaks me out. Americans, why not play for America, you know?
