Merriman Ultimate Buy & Hold Portfolio 2021 // Portfolio Analysis

Today we investigate whether factor investing is worth the hassle in 2021 using Paul Merriman's Classic Ultimate Buy & Hold Strategy. Due to my inability to get reliable historical data for several of the asset classes used in this portfolio, the dataset in the backtest in this video covers only a 26 year timeframe (1995-2021).

Please note that this portfolio's results can be made much better by increasing the timeline to 100+ years. So if you are unhappy with the results from todays analysis, no worries, just hold the portfolio for an extra 50-60 years and the results *should* improve ;)
