"Trouble-Maker" Amagansett Press Makes Local News in Florida

It was pointed out to me during the livestream that the Bay County Sheriff's Facebook page says, "In 2013, the problems identified within the statute were corrected by the Florida Legislature and it remains a viable part of Florida State Statute."

However, when you read the statute as it's currently written, constitutional lawyers contend that no substantive changes were made and section 810.0975 still declares "school zones," essentially, CONSTITUTION-FREE zones. As the founders have pointed out, "any law repugnant to the Constitution is null and void." -- that includes Florida State Statute 810.0975 in it's current form.

One word on the formation of pearls. Apparently the nacre that creates the pearl cannot form around inorganic compounds, such as sand or rocks. Instead it forms round living tissues like that of snails or worms. Seems the sand idea is a myth.
