The electrostatic gripper is suitable for handling of non-rigid semi-finished textiles. With a form flexible foil and a virtually uniform gripping force it is possible to pick-up textiles defined, drap them in- and out-of-molding-tool and release them on curved tool formes without damaging and wrinkling the textile structure.
