#WashWeekPBS: President-elect Joe Biden prepares to fight COVID-19 as virus kills thousands daily
On Wednesday and Thursday, over 3,000 people died each day from COVID-19 in the U.S., more than on 9/11 or at Pearl Harbor. President-elect Joe Biden is preparing his plans to fight the virus. On Friday, the FDA approved the first COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use and the panel discussed what leaders in Washington will do to help end this pandemic.
