Homemade brownie cake pops 🍭🍫

I make my brownies from scratch, BUT I have made a simple recipe for you that you can make using box brownies from the store!
🍫🍭Here it is:
Ingredients:
- 1 box of fudgy brownie mix (plus ingredients to prepare the brownies)
- 12 oz of chocolate candy melts
- 2 teaspoons of shortening
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles of your choice

Directions:
1. Prepare the brownies according to the package directions in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Let them cool completely.
2. Crumble the brownies into a large bowl and mix while still warm.
3. Shape the brownie mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
4. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the candy melts and the shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until smooth and melted.
5. Dip each frozen brownie ball into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Sprinkle with your favorite sprinkles and place them on a styrofoam block or another baking sheet to set.
6. Enjoy your brownie cake pops or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
