The intro of "Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car", from the album ZOOROPA, credited as 'Fanfare' taken from the album 'Lenin's Favorite Songs', is actually an excerpt from the song "Utyos" ("The Cliff"), a song popular among Russian revolutionaries, about Stepan Razin, a 17th century Russian rebel.
Live, during the ZooTV Tour, this 'Fanfare' was complemented by an excerpt of another song, "Dubinushka", a Russian song of (hard) work, which was 'sung' by the Astrobaby on the stage screens, while a tear appeared on his cheek...
Both songs are included in the aforementioned album 'Lenin's Favorite Songs'.
