Circa 1988 Vintage Dial-up BBS running on Alpha VMS via VT320 and 2400 baud modem

This is the UBBS Bulletin Board System as VAX89A3 DECUS SIG Tape now held in the DECUS archive - see http://slave.hecnet.eu/archive/DECUS-2/VAX89A3/UALR/BBS/

This BBS is from 1988 and was used at the University of Arkansas. The software was ported from VAX/VMS 4.6 to Alpha VMS 8.3 and is shown running via a VT320 and 2400 baud modem dial-up link to an AlphaServer 1000A. The AlphaServer is a 1996 vintage 300 Mhz/512MB Alpha with an internal 8 drive Storageworks cabinet and an external BA356 cabinet housing an additional 6 drives.
