Banknote unites Holocaust survivor with her liberator's children | Times News

A Holocaust survivor in London has been united with the children of one of her liberators after he was identified from words of hope written on a banknote.

Lily Ebert was 21 in April 1945 when she was freed while on a death march from a munitions factory in eastern Germany, to which she had been sent from Auschwitz as a slave labourer.
