Holography: Engineering the future

In 1971, the Hungarian engineer Dennis Gabor was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for the invention and development of the holographic method. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this award, this cycle of two lectures -entitled Holography: 50th Anniversary of Dennis Gabor´s Nobel Prize- is presented.
In this second videoconference , Holography: Engineering the Future, electromagnetic models for holography and the application of holography in engineering are presented. The lecture ends with a brief overview of some of the most important future prospects for holography.
