Jodie Sweetin Recalls Having 1st Drink At Candace Cameron Bure’s Wedding

Jodie Sweetin is offering a candid look into her struggle with addiction, beginning with her first drink at age 14. In an appearance on the “Skinny Confidential” podcast, the “Full House” alum described her first experience with alcohol, which she says occurred at co-star Candace Cameron Bure’s 1996 wedding, as “awful” and “ugly.” The actress went on to recall that even as a teenager, she was aware that her relationship with alcohol was different from her peers’, explaining, "I knew that I drank and partied in a way that my friends did not.” Jodie also explained that getting diagnosed with ADHD as an adult has given her a new perspective on her previous struggle with drug addiction.
