The passive vs. active debate is often misconstrued. The fact is, most passive investors are not really passive. What most passive investors do is, they hold a passive investment for a little while and it doesn’t work and then they get out of it and get into something else. That’s not passive; it’s active, using passive tools. It’s just another way to shoot themselves in the foot at the wrong time. Active comes with service, the service helps people stay steady on the path to where they need to get to.
