Small N Gauge Layout

My first train set and the resulting model railway layout.
I had no knowledge of railways or model railways when I bought that train set to play with over the lockdown Christmas 2020, and I certainly had no intention of making a layout...but having put the supplied rail loop together on the dining room table and then dismantled it a few times, I decided I needed something a bit more permanent.
The layout is on a 24” by 46” plywood (9mm) sheet, because that is what I had spare in my shed.
Construction was 3 months start to finish. It would have been a few weeks quicker, but the post from China was a bit slow for the little people figures!
Track is the basic oval that came in the box, with additional Peco set track and points.
Point control is via Arduino, PCA9685 and SG90 servos.
A Raspberry Pi is used to drive the custom stereo birdsong/cow/sheep soundtrack - 5 minute loop.
