Hi guys, I'm Eileen. In this video, I talked about the real reasons we keep wanting to shop more and more. We now live in a world where consumerism is celebrated, and shopping addiction is normalised. If you've watched any massive designer unboxing, luxury hauls, or come shop with me videos, you'll know what I mean. Some of you know, I've not always been a luxury minimalist, in fact I was quite a material maximalist just a few years ago. My first hand experience tells me, there's usually an underlying reason that makes us turn to excessiveness. I encourage everyone to look deeper and look for the cause for your frivolous spending (in case there is one). Enjoying luxury shopping responsibly is absolutely OK, but it doesn't mean we all need a walk in closet, or a massive Louis Vuitton or Chanel handbag collection. Having a curated wardrobe with investment pieces is often enough for us. Luxury minimalism has changed my life so much for the better and I hope you'll join me on this amazing journey xx

Shopping addiction is a real thing, so we should definitely acknowledge the underlying cause (in case there is one) and address it accordingly.
