No Matter What (2017) | An LGBT Short Film

In the midst of heartbreak, a young woman struggles to keep the details of her love life hidden from her mother. No Matter What (2017) is an lgbt short film, written & directed by Marissa Roxas, that addresses the nuances of coming out to those closest to us.

This my third and final film that I wrote and directed during my time in film school. It took me so long to share this piece with the world because it is so personal to me and close to my heart— it's essentially a snapshot from my life. But I knew it was time to let it go... and hopefully, my story will resonate with others.
