See how to decorate a quilted cake using a ruler. This pillow effect on a cake or quilt cake effect is done by using a ruler. This quilted cake was part of my pink princess tiara tutu cake which also had a pink ombre ruffles cake. You can also use stencils or a quilt embosser tool to press the quilted pattern in your cake. Pink Ribbon
Corn Flour bag for dusting (stops sticky fondant)
Mat to roll fondant on
Palette knife
Water (with brush to make fondant tacky / sticky)
Pink fondant icing
White fondant icing
