Is the NEW BMW M340i ALMOST as GOOD as the 2020 M3?

The ALL NEW BMW M340i is here and it has some great changes. Under the hood is a 3.0L turbocharged 382 HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic. Even though the redesign was last year, seeing the M340i optioned the way that it is makes it look so different. On the inside there are plenty of changes that raises the level of fit & finish, and overall layout. Is the 2020 BMW M340i so close to the performance of a 2020 M3?
