I saw a line of shoe shine stands on the street, beside the bus station, and stopped to take a look. I asked if it was okay to video, the shoe shiner quickly said yes. His customer called out to me and told me a shoe shine is only 10 Mexican Pesos (50 cents).

Then it started to rain.
I figured, why not? My turn next.

I had my brown leather shoes polished and shined by Jose, who has been working for 36 years in his craft.

At the end, I was asked for 20 Mexican Pesos ($1 USD) for the shoe shine.
