When learning Arabic one of the biggest challenges is deciding between learning formal fusha Arabic or a dialect of Arabic. It's much easier to learn fusha - there are more books on it and most newspapers and radio stations broadcast in formal Arabic.
In this video we look at a short clip which contains both slang gulf dialect Arabic and formal spoken Arabic spoken by the narrator. I made this video to help highlight or introduce you to the differences between the sounds of the two styles of speaking.
