Sawmillng in the PNW c 1985 Part 2 The Old Mill

This video highlights an example of a sawmill 30+ years ago milling big timber that is extremely rare these days. The technology in this mill is indicative of the way lumber was milled before the introduction of computer controlled milling. The video was done by a family friend on an old VHS recorder so the quality has degraded over time. I am glad to now have them in digital format for better preservation so folks can see how it used to done.
