Seriously the friendliest people I've ever met. Always an invitation for tea and a chat, even if we're 100% dependent on Google translate to make it happen.

A couple days ago the internet at a cafe wasn't working, so the waiter opened his own and let me use it so I could get my work done.

It's crazy to me how so many people think I'm in danger by traveling alone as a woman - they just haven't experienced it for themselves, or they'd know how welcoming people are everywhere in the world.
