Projects Abroad: Care in Togo (Volunteer Story)

Tatiana and Anna from Denmark have made a tangible impact at their placement in Togo.

For more than 25 years, Projects Abroad has been the industry leader for overseas internships, gap years, and volunteer projects.

Our care projects work closely with local teachers and care givers and trained professionals to focus on community-based child care and ensure the well-being and positive growth of each individual under our care.

We work with local day care centres, kindergartens, special needs centres, centres for the elderly, and more. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist staff to carry out daily operations and work with children either one-on-one or in groups where they can lead games and learning activities.

Volunteers and interns work alongside local professionals to gain valuable hands-on experience while making a difference in the communities where they work. Our projects are long-term, sustainable efforts designed to accommodate volunteers and interns while having a positive impact on the local community, whether volunteers are able to dedicate two weeks, two months, or longer.
