"Whizzo's Wonderland" began on KMBC-TV in 1955. KMBC director Frank Wiziarde became "Whizzo The Clown" when the station needed daytime programming. "Whizzo" remained on the air in Kansas City and later in Topeka, Kan. until three months before Wiziarde's death in September 1987. This 1981 reunion story aired on KMBC's PM Magazine and was produced by Mike Jerrick.
