Why anime fans are "allergic" to shortcuts

If you grew up with anime, a deep-rooted drive to work hard and earn your success was likely ingrained in your soul.

Because we believe in putting in the effort, we tend to be wary of shortcuts, even when they're tempting. 🫣

Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) gave me the strongest impression of what it means to give and take. Many other shows taught me that hard work always pays off.

While these are lessons you can definitely learn from non-anime shows, I just wanted to show my appreciation to anime for teaching us this wonderful lesson and explain why anime fans are famously resilient.
