Mark W. Barker refloated off Belle Isle

Detroit River Watch Webcam - The Dossin Great Lakes Museum provides a unique service to the maritime community.
The "Detroit RiverCam" brings passing lake and ocean freighters, motor and sailboats, and even the rowing shells to the home and office desktops of boat watching enthusiasts around the world.
The first camera at this location went Online in 2003. Please visit our user controlled camera: https://detroithistorical.org/dossin-great-lakes-museum/detroit-river-watch-webcam

The camera will operate on a Tour of Presets until a ship passes. At that time if an operator is available they will pan and zoom the camera. The camera has a directional microphone that sometime picks up the camera's motors or wind noise.
Please use your Browser's volume control to adjust the level to your liking. The camera is mounted 60 feet above the river with no protection from the wind. Vibration will occasionally over power the image stabilization and cause the image to shake.
