DIY Alignment Tool 

A stick with a nail in it and a friend is all you need to do your own front end alignment on your solid front axle vehicle. Scribe your line on each tire. Measure front and back the distance between the driver and passenger tire. As a rule of thumb about an 1/8" of toe in, toe in means the front tires point towards each other about a total. If you don't trust your ability, this method will at least get you close enough so you can get a professional alignment done. Of course be safe and your mileage may vary.
