A semi trailer hauling a load of pumpkins headed for Los Angeles broke down and burst into flames on the Southbound 5 freeway early Wednesday morning in Lebec. The pumpkins were scattered around the trailer blocking 1 lane on the freeway and an exit ramp. LACoFD captain at the scene cleaned two of the pumpkins up that were destined to be trashed and gave them to me. they now have a new home :)
