The 2013 Casselton, ND train derailment 10 years later

Thanks for watching my remake of the Casselton train derailment! The first one isn’t bad necessarily, but I have improved greatly in both my editing and writing skills, so heres a better one. I felt the need to make a documentary about this because the others out there don’t really give the full story. I hope you enjoyed the video!

A small city in a small state where, not much really happens. A city where you would never expect something so terrible to happen. One of the worst train wrecks in North Dakota, the Casselton train derailment isn’t the result of just one persons mistake. It was a derailment that, not only prevented many others from happening, but exposed the true bravery of the crews involved. Let’s just be thankful that no one was injured in the accident, because it definetly could have been much worse.

Note: I only found out that Pete Riepl’s actual name was Peter after I had finished recording and because I was under pressure, didn’t have time to change it.
