Bowness-on-Windermere Walk: Largest Lake in England | Lake District【4K】

The small town of Bowness in the county of Cumbria (although formerly in Westmorland prior to unification with Cumberland in 1974) sits adjacent to the largest natural lake in England, namely Windermere.

It is located within the mountainous Lake District national park and is a popular tourist resort, particularly among boating enthusiasts and mountaineers. It is worth noting that access via public transport is somewhat tricky, with the nearest railway station being over a mile away. The upshot is that it makes for a great location for some peace and quiet if you can find a nice spot by the lake!
